FearLess

All fear does is paralyze and prevent us from fighting back. Fear causes us to stall and fall. While faith rises us from the fall to our ultimate call. Today, tell fear you are here. The way to overcome fear is by preparing for it, battling it, and conquering it. We prepare for fear by acknowledging it. Then we have to battle fear by never giving up or giving in. Then we have to believe we will conquer fear before and while we face it. Being fearless is not living without fear. It’s the ability to know when to fight it and when to avoid it. It is a healthy balance to recognize when to stand firm and be immoveable. Countless times the bible repeats the process to overcome fear:

  • Be Strong and Courageous (Joshua 1:9)
  • Do not be afraid (Matthew 14:27)
  • Do not fear (Isaiah 35:4)
  • Be strong and immoveable (1 Corinthians 15:58)
  • Stand Firm (1 Corinthians 6:13)

This weekend Florida faces the worst storm ever to hit the state. Today, this state faces fear. For the rest of the days we should see FL as FearLess. No longer will it wavier and let fear continually push the state around. Chose to face fear. Face fear with the Fear of the Lord.  Today, Florida is united as one. Florida will survive and be fearless. Florida will battle and be fearless. Florida will conquer because true Love conquerors and is victorious.

And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39
  • Praying for those in harm’s way and praying for unity to bring revival to this FearLess State.
