Real End Game

One of the most highly anticipated movies of the year is coming out in a few days, Avengers Endgame. I know for myself I am beyond excited to see how the epic conclusion will transpire. No other movie has built up to such an epic conclusion with such diverse characters. I love watching movies and seeing the motives as well as hearts of each character. I want to congratulate all who been apart of this journey and thank them for the amazing entertainment over the past ten years.

The Marvel Universe will continue to develop and excite us movie viewers, but we are in a real universe that God created that will come to an end. Like these comic book characters God has shown us many faithful characters in the bible such as Job, Ruth, Elijah, David, and so on. This lineage of people all led towards the arrival of the Son of God, Jesus. The entire old testament of the bible spoke about his first coming, but majority of people thought it would be His second coming, which is the redemption and complete victory of the evil ruler of this world. First, Jesus had to take our sin and give us a path to eternal life prior to redeeming this world.

I will be the first to tell you I am not a pastor or knowledgeable in theology. My intent is to bring worldly current events and shift towards a heavenly perspective and outcome. So, what is the real end game? The real-life end game is in the Book of Revelation. There is a beginning and end to everything similar to the Avengers franchise.

“I am the Alpha and the Omega-the beginning and the end,” says the Lord God. “I am the one who is, who always was, and who is still to come-the Almighty one.” Revelation 1:8 NLT

The Book of Revelation is the one book in the bible most probably do not read, or completely understand, or entirely avoid. I do not understand it all, but it is an outcome that will soon come. I recommend reading the Book of Revelation with an open heart and mind. There is so much detail and crazy events that will take place that you have to read for yourself, but in the end, there is a side you will have to choose. Will you choose the fleeting pleasures of this world or the extending unconditional love of God through Christ? From my perspective, the more I hear and read about the Book of Revelation the more I notice how evil and corrupt this world is. Jesus says in the gospel of John prior to His crucifixion how the “ruler of this world” approaches (John 14:30). Revelation is a warning to those who are believers and unbelievers. In the end, Jesus is coming and will be victorious. There will be an epic battle just like the epic battle in the Avengers Infinity War movie.

“Their entire army was killed by the sharp sword that came from the mouth of the one riding the white horse. And the vultures all gorged themselves on the dead bodies.” Revelation 19:21 NLT

The end game is Jesus will conquer and His faithful followers will be preserved because of how they persevered. The end times are referenced throughout the entire bible like in the book of Matthew. The end is coming, and the purpose of knowing the end is to give us a sense of urgency to make ourselves right with God and do right in this world while we have time left. No one knows when the day and time this all will take place, but it will come to pass. There will be a real-world end game, sometime soon. You might ask yourselves how this relates to me. My only question is what side are you on? Who do you choose? Please know first that Jesus choose you from the very beginning.

“You didn’t choose me. I chose you. I appointed you to go and produce lasting fruit, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask for, using my name. This is my command: Love each other.” John 15:16-17 NLT

Choose Jesus today as your Lord and Savior. This world is temporary, but our missions as faithful followers of Jesus is to love everyone. That includes the most difficult people at work, your community, and families. Love how Jesus loves you. He sacrificed Himself to take out the sins of the world. We are all sinners, but God loves sinners He hates sin. That’s why Jesus came and laid down His life for our own. This is why we celebrate Easter in a few days. The redemption of God’s Kingdom to come. In the end, God is all about your redemption and resurrection through the righteousness of Jesus. Observe your life right now and see God’s love. Ask Him to reveal what He has done now and in the past. I understand it might be difficult to see, but my prayer is that you will see how He see’s you.

“Look, I am coming soon, brining my reward with me to repay all people according to their deeds. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.” Revelation 22:12 NLT

In conclusion, I hope you all see the love of God in your everyday life and chose His son Jesus as your savior. I encourage you all to read the book of Revelation to see the real end game. Be Strong and Courageous.

Side note: I also hope you do not spoil the Avengers End Game movie. Thank you, Marvel Studios for all you have done.
